Individual Assignment
My final project is The liquid consistency measuring device, which measure the consistency of liquid food like sugar syrup and tomoto ketchup/sauce. I get this Idea from vigyan Ashram food lab, where they measure the consistency of these liquid food by traditional method.
So the basic priciple of this project is that when we applied some torque on machine shaft, machine required higher temperature. So when the liquid material is thick, motor required higher current and when the liquid is thin, motor required less current. After that we have to calibrate this device with perfectly made liquid food.
and we record the value of current at that time . And then we give conditions in programming. Then after that it give value by compairing the calibration value. I am using a 3 mode mechanism where 2 mods are used for the sugar syrup and tomoto sauce. Third mode is for the live current value and help to calibraate the device with new liquid. There are a oled display which shows this mode.
The mode are change by a push button with indidicator LEDs.

What tasks have been completed, and what tasks remain?
Completed Task
• All electronic purchased from the market.
• The motor testing is done with power supply and mesured the current variatin when we oppose the motion of the motor shaft.
• The electronic design and Soldering Process is done. I made two PCBs. One is used to control the mechanism and another is used to change the mode in The PCB.
• The electronic testing is done with INA219 current measuring sensor. I connect all the Input and Output device used in the project and checked their working. All the electronic worked fine.
Incompleted Task
• The 3D design of the casing for the project is not done yet. I am not finalize the design for the casing. So after the design part I will print the casing in 3D printer.
• Assembly is not completed yet because of the casing part is not ready now.
• Device calibration is still pending with perfectly made liquid. After the calibration I will put the calibration value into the programming.
• Final testing with food liquid.
What's working?
The PCB Boards I designed are woriking well and I test them by uploading a code into the main board. All the input and output device working fine at the time of testing.
What's not working?
Firstly I tried to measure the current with ACS712, but is not working with my microcontroller. Then I changed the current sensor by INA219 and it is working fine with the design board.
What questions need to be resolved?
• I am still confuse about my assembly, Because firstly I designed the PCBs and then I have to design the main casing of the project.
• My rotating shaft fins will be 3d printed part. Will it resist the temperature of hot sugar syrup or not.

Learning outcomes
• It is a very wonderfull journey for me. During fabacademy I learned lots of things. At the starting of this course I am worried about how it will be go. But at the end It tought me lots of new things.
• I started with a website design, But I am not able to design a website so I downloded the tremplate and start putting my weekly workflow in it.
• Inkscape, Fusion 360, Solidworks, Eagle, Arduino IDE are those software which I mostly used.
• For a mechanical students it is hard to understand the circuit design and electronics, But I tried my best and I made the PCB board with Attiny45, Xiao RP2040, Xiao ESP32c3 and Attiny 1614. All my designed board worked fine.
• I also learned about 3D printing Technologies and laser cuuting technologies. I learned this machines also.
• The difficult Part I faced everytime is programming. But I tried and then it worked.
• In a make a machie week , I learned the mechanism and electronic of CNC and we made Jalebi maker. After making this machine I get the confidence that I can make a machine now.
• The molding and casting and wildcard week was the very interesting week and I done lots of things.
• The most important knowledge I get from Fabacademy is to documentation of our work in limit time. We have to document our work like if someone read it, they understand the process.
